These Terms of Use govern the use of the mobile application “Thermometer” (“Service”, “Application”) by users (“User”, “You”). By using the Application, You agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. General Provisions
1.1. The Application is intended for:
- displaying device temperature;
- displaying temperature from external BLE sensors;
- displaying weather data;
- viewing weather forecasts;
- recording temperature data;
- saving measurement history;
- sharing measurement results via links;
- temperature calibration;
- real-time temperature monitoring.
1.3. The Application may only be used upon acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
1.4. The Application is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of diseases.
2. Application Features
The Application may provide:
- device temperature;
- temperature from BLE sensors;
- weather data;
- weather forecasts;
- temperature recorder;
- data export;
- public links for viewing records;
- measurement unit selection;
- light and dark themes;
- temperature calibration for adjusting displayed values;
- connection and management of external BLE sensors.
Some features may depend on:
- system permissions;
- internet connection;
- availability of third-party services.
3. Temperature Sensors and Measurement Accuracy
3.1. The Application may connect to BLE sensors via Bluetooth.
3.2. Access to Bluetooth and device location may be used for discovering BLE devices in accordance with Android requirements.
3.3. Measurement accuracy depends on:
- the user’s device, battery condition, and device usage method (for phone sensors);
- ambient temperature;
- the BLE sensor being used.
3.4. Device temperature may differ from the actual ambient temperature.
3.5. The calibration feature allows manual adjustment of displayed phone temperature values.
4. Temperature Recorder and Sharing
4.1. Users may save temperature measurement history.
4.2. Users may export records and create links for viewing temperature data.
4.3. Users are solely responsible for sharing links and data.
4.4. Public links may be restricted, removed, or disabled by the developer in cases of:
- legal violations;
- service abuse;
- security threats.
4.5. Some recording and sharing features may require an internet connection.
5. Device Permissions
The Application may request:
- location access — for displaying weather data and discovering BLE sensors;
- Bluetooth access — for connecting BLE sensors;
- internet access — for weather data, analytics, and sharing features;
- storage access — for saving and exporting data.
Users may change permissions in device settings.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. The Application is provided “as is”.
6.2. The developer does not guarantee:
- absolute measurement accuracy;
- uninterrupted Application operation;
- compatibility with all devices;
- uninterrupted operation of third-party services.
6.3. The developer is not responsible for:
- measurement errors;
- data loss;
- temporary feature unavailability;
- actions of third-party services;
- misuse of the Application.
6.4. Users independently make decisions based on displayed data.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Application, interface, graphics, design, software code, and materials belong to the copyright holder. Copying, distribution, or modification of the Application without permission is prohibited.
8. Changes to the Terms
The developer may update these Terms. The current version is always available within the Application or on the website. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3. Bluetooth

3.2. The Application does not use Bluetooth to track user movement.
4. Temperature Recorder and Sharing
4.1. Users may save measurement history.
4.2. When using sharing features, data may become accessible to anyone with the link.
4.3. Users independently decide whether to publish links.
4.4. Users are responsible for data shared through public links.
5. Analytics and Third-Party Services
The Application may use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics;
- Google Analytics;
- Google AdMob;
- OpenWeatherMap API.
These services may automatically collect:
- technical device information;
- application usage data;
- IP address;
- device identifiers;
- advertising interaction data;
- in-app events;
- crash reports and diagnostics.
These services are used for:
- displaying weather information;
- analytics and Application improvement;
- improving stability and performance;
- fixing errors;
- displaying advertisements;
- evaluating feature effectiveness.
Weather data is provided by OpenWeatherMap. Advertisements may be displayed through Google AdMob.
6. Advertising
6.1. The Application may display advertisements.
6.2. Technical device identifiers may be used for ad personalization.
6.3. Users may limit ad personalization through Android or Google settings.
7. Data Sharing
7.1. The Application does not sell users’ personal data.
7.2. Data may be shared with:
